Pentagon investigators are trying to discover the whereabouts of Wikileaks website founder Julian Assange for fear that he be may be on the verge of publishing classified US State Department cables.

The cables reportedly contain information related to US diplomatic and intelligence efforts in the war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a US diplomat.'
