Public Sector Pension Black Hole to Cost Taxpayers an Extra £330 a Year


Taxpayers will have to provide about £100 billion a year because not enough funds are being put aside for the retirement schemes.

The total “unfunded” cost of all public sector pensions is estimated at £1 trillion.

Confederation of British Industry, which represents companies employing millions of private sector workers, will call for an official inquiry today into the cost of public sector pensions to take place after the election.'
