The secret infatuation l had in Huw had developed over time within me and he was a mental representation of how l would of liked to have been earlier on in life.
Occasionally there was a sexual fantasy l felt with Huw but l would push this aside when it would stir within, it was mainly a tug on the heartstrings that he evoked in me under a blanket that l would lull to sleep when it too would stir within also.
Sometimes Huw would flirt in a subtle way around me which l'd pretend not to notice, it didn't happen that much but l'd say to myself, "What's is he doing that for??.."
ln October 2001 l bought an Abtronic fitness belt which when placed around your waist would pulsate and vibrate to firm and tone stomach muscles. Huw wanted to try this gadget out and asked me to place it around his waist as he lifted up his shirt for me to strap it around him. As l was adjusting the belt around his tummy he stood quitely and with my face directly in view of his waistline l was focusing on placing it properly around him as he pulled his trousers down just a little for it to be placed just underneath his bellybutton. lts then that l started to see small dark veins spread out from his navel like a tattoo around his bellybutton, similar to the effects of a crater blast on the moon. Difficult to discribe this, bizarre too.
l thought to myself "Gee hes got an ugly belly button" l didn't say nothing to him though as l didn't want to hurt his feelings and l forgot about this blemish afterwards. l didn't know it at the time but what had occurred was that a slight shapeshift had taken place on his body. Somehow l must of thought this was natural l wasn't to know the truth until 9 months away. This was one of three oddities l was to see in Huw before the main event in July/August '02.
This incident that took place around his bellybutton is difficult to discribe as it happened quickly but as l straightened up, for l was bent over when l was placing the belt around him what l saw wasn't there when l shifted my focus as he pressed the button on the belt to activate the Abtronic into action. So it was kind of like in my mind for a second "What was that??", then my focus switched to him operating the gadgets speed control. lts like when you see a fold on a piece of material and with movement the fold is no longer there.
Dang I love this heavy social commentary first thing in the morning.
