The US president elect has reportedly decided to bring Israel under its 'nuclear umbrella' after receiving warnings by Tel Aviv officials.Barack Obama's administration will propose equipping Tel Aviv with the nuclear deterrent apparatus reinforcing the protections already in place against any strike, Haaretz reported a source close to the US president-elect Barack Obama's team as saying. "The US will declare that an attack on Israel by Tehran would result in a devastating US nuclear response against Iran," the source added.
