Invasion of Pakistan Imminent
The US will invade Pakistan to deal with instability and Australia must send troops there, too, says independent MP Bob Katter.
Mr Katter told parliament yesterday the situation in Pakistan was increasing the likelihood of a US invasion, which Australia should support.
Speaking during the debate on Afghanistan, Mr Katter, who was once the proud owner of an AK-47 assault rifle, said the security situation in Pakistan was "highly volatile".
With the government of Pakistan under increasing threat from armed fundamentalist rebels, a US military invasion was inevitable, Mr Katter said.'

State Dept: Iraqi Detainee Abuse Not America’s Problem
In the first official US State Department response to the massive WikiLeaks release of classified Iraq War documents, spokesman P.J. Crowley shrugged off the evidence that US troops were ordered to cover up detainee abuse by the Iraqi government, insisting the abuse wasn’t America’s problem.
"If there needs to be an accounting, first and foremost there needs to be an accounting by the Iraqi government itself, and how it treated its own citizens," Crowley added. Under Frago 242, US soldiers were ordered not to investigate any abuse by Iraqi government officials.'

Humiliate, Strip, Threaten: UK Military Interrogation Manuals Discovered
The British military has been training interrogators in techniques that include threats, sensory deprivation and enforced nakedness in an apparent breach of the Geneva conventions, the Guardian has discovered.
Training materials drawn up secretly in recent years tell interrogators they should aim to provoke humiliation, insecurity, disorientation, exhaustion, anxiety and fear in the prisoners they are questioning, and suggest ways in which this can be achieved.
One PowerPoint training aid created in September 2005 tells trainee military interrogators that prisoners should be stripped before they are questioned. "Get them naked," it says. "Keep them naked if they do not follow commands." Another manual prepared around the same time advises the use of blindfolds to put prisoners under pressure.'

Israel Hails Commandoes Killing Activists
Israeli leaders have praised soldiers who killed pro-Palestinian activists on board an international aid ship bound for the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded the commandos on Tuesday during a visit to the Atlit naval commando base. "The action taken was vital, necessary, legal and of the utmost importance," Netanyahu said.
On May 31, Israeli troops attacked the Mavi Marmara ship in international waters, killing nine Turkish peace activists and injuring dozens of others.'

American People To Democrats And Republicans: Get Out Of Office, You Don’t Speak For Us
A whopping majority of 62% of the American people believe it will be a good thing for the country if almost all incumbents from both parties were removed in the upcoming midterm election.
That is the finding of a new national poll that also reveals over a third would like to see a new political party formed to remove the establishment.
Only 27% said they felt their representative in Congress was the best person for the office.
Furthermore, 43% of the American people do not believe that either party in Congress represents them or their country.'

The EU Is On Another Planet
Barking Brussels politicians have proved they live on another planet by pouring millions of pounds into the pointless European space programme.
As millions of Britons faced swingeing cuts, the draft EU budget reveals an extra £23million will be spent on space research next year, taking the annual total to £204million.
Taxpayers’ cash is also being funnelled into a £670million subsidy of pro-European documentaries and art-house films revelling in scenes of sex and violence.'

Polling Places Removed From Native Reservation
Residents of Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota are protesting the county's decision to remove three polling places from the tribe's three precinct vicinity.
The Benson County Board of Commissioners cited the high costs of running the polls and training staff as reasons for their decision. Spirit Lake leaders offered to front the costs for recruiting and training poll workers as well as provide rent-free facilities, but the board declined, saying the costs would still be too high and that mail-in ballots are cheaper.
In a county where Natives account for 50 percent of all voters, this move will most certainly disenfranchise them. With only one poll location in the entire county, they will have to travel further and have a longer waiting time to cast their vote. While mail-in ballots may be cheaper, every voter should have the same methods available to cast their vote as every other voter in the U.S.'

Treasury Hides $300 Billion Back-door Bailout to Citibank
The late Bloomberg News reporter Mark Pittman asked the U.S. Treasury in January 2009 to identify $301 billion of securities owned by Citigroup Inc. that the government had agreed to guarantee. He made the request on the grounds that taxpayers ought to know how their money was being used.
More than 20 months later, after saying at least five times that a response was imminent, Treasury officials responded with 560 pages of printed-out e-mails -- none of which Pittman requested. They were so heavily redacted that most of what’s left are everyday messages such as “Did you just try to call me?” and “Monday will be a busy day!” '

L.A. Stimulus: $10 Million to Create One Job
When President Obama and Congress passed a multi-billion dollar jobs creation bill it was widely reported that tens of thousands of jobs would be saved or created as a result. Contrary opinions from opponents of the bill argued that only the free market, not government, is capable of creating sustainable, meaningful labor and that the billions spent would end up being more wasteful spending.
According to Los Angeles City Controller Wendy Greuel, the contrarians may have been right.
In a recent audit and follow-up press release, the city controller’s office says that of the $111 million in stimulus funds the city has already received of the $594 originally awarded, the city has created or retained a total 54.46 jobs.'

The number of Sexual Offences Prevention Orders (SOPOs) being flouted has almost doubled from 60 in 2006-07 to 110 this year.

Is Aspartame in All Soda?
I haven't heard this although Dr. James Bowen once told me every once in awhile they add it in some markets to see if people an tell. Dr. Bowen has ALS from aspartame and like most aspartame victims is chemically hypersensitive for life. An aspartame victim can always tell when aspartame is in a product, labeled or not.
The problem is the manufacturers know aspartame is addictive. Like in the case of Mars I called them and asked if aspartame were in their products and they told me "yes, in Mars Bars". I said, "But its not labeled," and they said, its under natural flavors. I tried one and sure enough immediately got a headache.
Because of the chemical hypersensitization I tell aspartame victims over and over never to use processed foods because this and MSG are so often hidden.'

The Grasdorf Pictogram Plates
Farmer Werner Harenberg woke up early in the morning of July 23, 1991 to discover Germany’s first spectacular crop circle near the village of Grasdorf, Lower Saxony in the historic Teutoburger Wald Area, not far from Hannover. This location is not far from the prehistoric site of Externsteine, part natural rock, part carvings, caves and bearing various signs of what seems like long and varied religious practices. After noticing that the straws were unbroken, merely bent, Harenberg stated that it could not have been made by amateurs such as had recently allegedly been at play further north in Schleswig-Holstein.
A visitor to the farm, a man wearing a house painter’s outfit and a hanging moustache, turned up nine days later bringing along his metal detector. He searched all nine parts of the pictogram dropping a handkerchief in three spots as mark...all of them had a spherical symbol, less than a semi-circle attached to it. Then he went to his car to pick up a digging tool and a bucket unearthing a bronze, silver and gold plates at the three areas he marked.'

City Councils Plan Social Cleansing Of London Poor
Ministers were accused last night of deliberately driving poor people out of wealthy inner cities as London councils revealed they were preparing a mass exodus of low-income families from the capital because of coalition benefit cuts.
Representatives of London boroughs told a meeting of MPs last week that councils have already block-booked bed and breakfasts and other private accommodation outside the capital – from Hastings, on the south coast, to Reading to the west and Luton to the north – to house those who will be priced out of the London market.
Councils in the capital are warning that 82,000 families – more than 200,000 people – face losing their homes because private landlords, enjoying a healthy rental market buoyed by young professionals who cannot afford to buy, will not cut their rents to the level of caps imposed by ministers.'

September 11th---The Occult Connection
Aleister Crowley (1875-1947), the foremost occultist of the early 20th century, dedicated his life to the dark arts. A wealthy, Cambridge-educated world traveler, Crowley (rhymes with holy) associated with the artistic and cultural luminaries of his era, including such noted figures as Ernest Hemingway, W. B. Yeats and H. L. Mencken. Fully committed to the transformation and illumination of the entire world, Crowley (also known as the Great Beast) wrote numerous books detailing his vision of the ideal society: the strong over the weak, the maintenance of a patriarchal aristocracy ruling over a slave state, and the Darwinian killing of the unfit. According to the Beast, a small elite must rule over the masses: "You will observe that I am advocating an aristocratic revolution. And so I am!"
Is there a connection between Crowley, 9/11 and the New World Order that has been overlooked? Has Crowley influenced the ideology of the New World Order? Is there a secret numerical code in the events of 9/11 not understood by the general public? Is there a deeper meaning to the numbers used for the planes on the day of the event? Why are those numbers relevant to Crowley?'

Being Bank Of America Means NEVER Having To Say You’re Sorry For Countrywide Fraud
The prospect of a second legal assault is more recent. Shortly before the earnings call, Bank of America (nyse: BAC) received a letter from a lawyer representing eight powerful institutional investors, including BlackRock, Pimco and — most amazing of all — the New York Federal Reserve. The letter was a not-so-veiled threat to sue the bank unless it agrees to buy back billions of dollars worth of loans that are in securitized mortgage bonds the investors own.
Mainly, they are saying that Bank of America was servicing loans in these bonds that the bank knew violated the underwriting standards that the investors had been led to believe the bank was conforming to. What’s more, they said, the bank had never come clean about all the bad loans, as it was required to do. Therefore, say the investors, the bank has a contractual obligation to buy back the bad loans.'

Torture, Killing, Children Shot – and How the US Tried to Keep it All Quiet
So now we begin to know the full extent of what Tony Blair called the blood price. A detainee tortured with live electrical wires here, children shot by US troops at a checkpoint there, insurgents using children to carry out suicide bombings somewhere else; on and on, through 391,832 documents. At the Pentagon, these messages were the day-to-day commonplaces of staff inboxes; for Iraqis, they detail, in the emotionless jargon of the US military, nothing less than the hacking open of a nation's veins.
Today, seven and a half years on from the order to invade, the largest leak in history has shown, far more than has been hitherto known, just what was unleashed by that declaration of war. The Iraqi security services tortured hundreds, and the US military watched, noted and emailed, but rarely intervened. A US helicopter gunship crew were ordered to shoot insurgents trying to surrender. A doctor sold al-Qa'ida a list of female patients with learning difficulties so they could be duped into being suicide bombers. A private US company, which made millions of dollars from the outsourcing of security duties, killed civilians. And the Americans, who have always claimed never to count civilian deaths, were in fact secretly logging them. At a conservative estimate, the new documents add at least 15,000 to the war's death toll.'

Six Months Later, an Oil Disaster Spreads Across the Gulf
But there was one experience I'll always remember. I was at a Port Sulphur town hall meeting with BP money czar Ken Feinberg when news broke that the BP well was plugged. After 87 days of anxiety and repeated failures to tame the beast, the news was met with mere tepid applause. People were tired and scared of the future. They knew the real test was ahead of them.
Once the well stopped spewing crude, it didn't take long for the media to pull out. Without dramatic visuals of a volcano of crude gushing from the bottom of the sea, there were other stories to pursue. But even though most media left, the oil never did. It still washes in with the tide as tar balls and sheen, visible when boat engines kick up the mud in the shallow waters of the marsh.'
