No Science is Possible: CRU Has Destroyed the Original Data

So, basically we are being asked to restructure the entire economy of the planet on the say-so of a few "scientists" whose work cannot be verified or even reconstructed. Is there any intellectually honest person who thinks that is a good idea?'

Potential For the Fed to Hyperinflate

The following information may be the most important we have ever published. One of our Intel sources, highly placed in banking circles, tells us that on 1/1/10 all banks that have received TARP funds have been informed by the Federal Reserve that they must further restrict any commercial lending. Loans have to be 75% collateralized, 50% of which has to be in cash, which is a compensating balance.

The Fed has to do one of two things: They either have to pull $1.5 trillion out of the system by June, which would collapse the economy, or face hyperinflation. This is why the Fed has instructed banks to inform them when and how much of the TARP funds they can return. At best they can expect $300 to $400 billion plus the $200 billion the Fed already has in hand.'

French Army to be Used in Swine Flu Vaccination Centres

The French army’s medical corps is to help carry out vaccinations in the country’s 1080 vaccine centers, according to an announcement by the French Ministry of Interior today, Saturday.

The army is being called in along with doctors and other health care personnel to operate the controversial centers and administer the untested swine flu jab in spite of -- or because of?-- evidence of a low voluntary up take of the jab among the population.

According to French government figures only about 300,000 people have taken the jab so far in spite of extreme pressure from the health ministry and daily media hype about the alleged dangers of the swine flu.'

Sneaky: Current Credit Bailout Bill Contains Carbon Tax Provisions!

If you look at page 180 of the 451-page monster bailout bill that easily passed the Senate yesterday (PDF here), you will see that it includes at Section 116 language about the tax treatment of “industrial source carbon dioxide.” It also provides, at Section 117, for a “carbon audit of the tax code.”

What could a provision about the tax treatment of “industrial source carbon dioxide” and another provision about doing a “carbon audit” of the tax code possibly have to do with restoring confidence in Wall Street’s troubled credit and banking markets?

The answer: NOTHING.

This appears to be an attempt by global warming alarmists to lay the foundation for a carbon tax in the middle of another crisis, hoping nobody will notice.'

Annals of Pathetic Desperation: Doctors to Offer Patients 'Climate Change Advice'

The Climate and Health Council, a collaboration of worldwide health organisations including the Royal College of Nursing, the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal Society of Medicine, believes there is a direct link between climate change and better health.

Their controversial plan would see GPs and nurses give out advice to their patients on how to lower their carbon footprint.

The Council believes that climate change “threatens to radically undermine the health of all peoples”.'

Climategate: NOAA Caught Fudging the Climate Data

Yes, that is correct. Nearly all the reported warming in the USHCN data base, which is used for nearly all global warming studies and models, is from human-added fudge factors, guesstimates, and corrections.

Below is the key chart from that site showing the sum of all the plug factors and corrections they add to the raw USHCN measurements.'

Iraq: The War Was Illegal

The Chilcot inquiry into the Iraq war will consider a letter from Lord Goldsmith, then Mr Blair's top law officer, advising him that deposing Saddam would be in breach of international law, according to a report in The Mail on Sunday.

But Mr Blair refused to accept Lord Goldsmith's advice and instead issued instructions for his long-term friend to be "gagged" and barred from cabinet meetings, the newspaper claimed. Lord Goldsmith apparently lost three stone, and complained he was "more or less pinned to the wall" in a No 10 showdown with two of Mr Blair's most loyal aides, Lord Falconer and Baroness Morgan. Mr Blair also allegedly failed to inform the Cabinet of the warning, fearing an "anti-war revolt".'

Schools Vet Parents for Christmas Festivities

Parents who want to accompany their children to Christmas carol services and other festive activities are being officially vetted for criminal records in case they are paedophiles.

In the latest expansion of the government’s child protection agenda, parents are checked against a database of people banned from working with children for sex offences and for other reasons.

Among those affected are parents at a village primary school who have been told they must be vetted before they can accompany pupils on a 10-minute walk to a morning carol service at the local church.

Other primaries have instituted vetting for parents attending Christmas discos on school premises. Some schools require checks on parents who volunteer to walk with children from the school to post letters to Father Christmas.'

WHO-Linked Scientists Mixing Swine And Bird Flu To Create Deadly Virus

In one of the safest laboratories in the world, scientists are intent on mixing one of the most contagious viruses in this world with one of the most deadly ones, she writes.

The goal is to find out whether swine flu and bird flu can end up as a deadly mixture, writes the Norwegian news agency ANB.

Swine flu (H1N1) is very contagious, but ends up only killing a minority of the persons who actually get the flu.

Bird flu (H5N1), on the other hand, kills more than 60 percent of its human victims, but only in rare cases spreads from person to person.

Should those two viruses mix or mutate, a new horror virus might appear: A virus as devastating as the avian flu virus and as contagious as the swine flu virus.'

Israeli War Criminal Welcomed in Australia

The news that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was in Australia and was welcomed by the honourable members of our parliament came as somewhat of a shock. It is one thing to have allowed a man on corruption charges as well as facing war crimes indictments into Australia at all; it is another thing that he was listed as a distinguished guest in Hansard – the official record of parliamentary proceedings – and received a resounding "hear, hear" from our elected representatives.

This is, after all, the man who approved the genocidal attack on the 1.5 million imprisoned and defenceless Palestinians in Gaza less than a year ago. This is the same attack that was the subject of numerous enquiries, not least the UN fact-finding mission led by Justice Richard Goldstone, which found that "the operations were carefully planned . . . and designed to punish, humiliate and terrorise a civilian population . . . [and] that the serious violations of International Humanitarian Law recounted in this report fall within the subject-matter jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC)." With further investigations, these violations may well amount to "war crimes and "crimes against humanity".'

Americans Are Deeply Involved In Afghan Drug Trade

If you’re looking for the chief kingpin in the Afghanistan heroin trade, it’s the United States. The American mission has devolved to a Mafiosi-style arrangement that poisons every military and political alliance entered into by the U.S. and its puppet government in Kabul. It is a gangster occupation, in which U.S.-allied drug dealers are put in charge of the police and border patrol, while their rivals are placed on American hit lists, marked for death or capture. As a result, Afghanistan has been transformed into an opium plantation that supplies 90 percent of the world’s heroin.'

Why I Believe Blair Should Stand Trial - And Even Face Charges for War Crimes, by General Sir Michael Rose

For it is not just Blair who should be held to account. In the run-up to the Iraq war, it is clear that MPs failed sufficiently to question the validity of the intelligence used by Blair to justify the war - choosing to believe what they were told and supinely accepting the conclusions of the infamous 'dodgy dossier' which warned that Saddam could launch an attack on the West within 45 minutes.

During the debate on the dossier on September 24, 2002, they failed to challenge the Prime Minister even though it would have been a simple matter to determine whether the missiles that Saddam supposedly possessed were tactical or strategic weapons.'

Climate Change: This is the Worst Scientific Scandal of Our Generation

Our hopelessly compromised scientific establishment cannot be allowed to get away with a whitewash regarding statistics for global warming.

A week after my colleague James Delingpole, on his Telegraph blog, coined the term "Climategate" to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed.

The reason why even the Guardian's George Monbiot has expressed total shock and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents is that their authors are not just any old bunch of academics. Their importance cannot be overestimated, What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Professor Philip Jones, the CRU's director, is in charge of the two key sets of data used by the IPCC to draw up its reports. Through its link to the Hadley Centre, part of the UK Met Office, which selects most of the IPCC's key scientific contributors, his global temperature record is the most important of the four sets of temperature data on which the IPCC and governments rely – not least for their predictions that the world will warm to catastrophic levels unless trillions of dollars are spent to avert it.'

Huge UFO 'Mothership' Causes Blackout In Argentina

This morning we received an urgent call from Tony, saying that the transit of a "flying cigar" overhead with flashing intermittent lights and a red beacon on its structure, had caused an enormous BLACKOUT in the town of Joaquin V. Gonzalez, where he lives, as well as in adjacent communities, some 20 minutes after having appeared. Practically the entire department of Anta had "collapsed" as far as its power grid was concerned.

Dozens of residents reported seeing the UFO after 0100 hours today (Thursday, November 26) on a hot and stormy night. The final trajectory of this object was south-southwest, in other words toward El Tunal, some 35 kilometers from Joaquin V. Gonzalez and bordering the Pasaje Juramento River. As hours went by, Salta's power company (ENDESA) could not find a cause for the blackout until the light returned around noon yesterday, but telephone service remained out of order. Early in the afternoon, a "burned-out turbine" was found at the El Tunal power station. In other words, along the UFOs heading.'

Police Get “Pre-emptive” Arrest Powers Ahead Of Copenhagen

The Danish parliament today passed legislation which will give police sweeping powers of “pre-emptive” arrest and extend custodial sentences for acts of civil disobedience. The “deeply worrying” law comes ahead of the UN climate talks which start on 7 December and are expected to attract thousands of activists from next week.

Under the new powers, Danish police will be able to detain people for up to 12 hours whom they suspect might break the law in the near future. Protesters could also be jailed for 40 days under the hurriedly drafted legislation dubbed by activists as the “turmoil and riot” law. The law was first announced on 18 October.

The Danish ministry of justice said that the new powers of “pre-emptive” detention would increase from 6 to 12 hours and apply to international activists. If protesters are charged with hindering the police, the penalty will increase from a fine to 40 days in prison. Protesters can also be fined an increased amount of 5,000 krona (671 Euros) for breach of the peace, disorderly behaviour and remaining after the police have broken up a demonstration.'
