CBS Propaganda Placement: Conspiracy Theorists Are Anti-American, Domestic Terrorists

A primetime CBS show that aired last week featured a notable example of so called “propaganda placement”, where a talking point is inserted into the plot in order to shape public perception, often at the behest of the government.

CSI NY’s episode entitled “Point of View” featured a character who researches “conspiracy theories”, such the deliberate dispersal of potentially dangerous chemtrails into the atmosphere.

First the character, a professor, is labeled”odd”, then “anti-American”, before finally he is revealed to be a “domestic terrorist” hell bent on releasing a biological weapon in New York.'

Media Fabrications: The 'Srebrenica Massacre' is a Western Myth

Swine Flu Vaccine Propaganda In NY Times’ Lessons For 6th Graders

The New York Times has produced a detailed lesson plan for students in grades 6-12 that pushes the H1N1 flu vaccine and sets about debunking what the editors describe as “myths” surrounding the swine flu shot.

The material originates from the Times’ Learning Network feature, an educational resource for teachers and parents that works the Times’ coverage of current events into daily lesson plans for young students.

Corporate Media Orchestrates Outrage over Release of Libyan Patsy al-Megrahi

In lemming-like fashion, so-called conservative talk radio hosts and news network anchors have predictably voiced their outrage over the decision to release Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the Libyan patsy convicted of killing 270 people in the 1988 airline bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland.

Fox’s Greta Van Susteren called al-Megrahi a “cold-blooded mass murderer” while the washed-up neocon John Bolton placed all the blame on the Clinton administration. Bolton lamented that the United States didn’t get to prosecute al-Megrahi and give him the death penalty.

Global "Media Flu" Pandemic Worsens

Observers are concerned that a rampant virulent infection has taken hold of almost all media outlets all over the world.

Prof Ed Woodburners of the Institute of Propaganda Studies has said "We have been working for years to shape the media to report what needs reporting, but even we have been surprised at how this 'media flu' has taken hold."

Dr Joseph Gerbils of the University of Misrepresentation has challenged what many are stating as fact, "We question whether there is really such a thing as 'media flu' at all - we actually think that what we're seeing is a result of corporate policies being implemented behind everyone's backs - the outcome being something which looks like one illness but is actually another.
