US Wants Israel Military Dominant in Mideast: Biden

In a landmark visit to Tel Aviv, US Vice President Joe Biden will remind Israeli officials that the hefty military aid they receive from Washington should ease their worries about Iran's nuclear work.

Biden, who is slated to arrive on Monday, is expected to warn his hosts against an attack on Iranian nuclear sites, particularly now that world powers are trying to pursue fresh sanctions against Tehran.

In a Monday interview with a leading Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Biden assured Tel Aviv it will always have the backing of the US government in the event of a military confrontation with Iran.'

Obama's Special Iran Envoy to be Ousted: Report

Dennis Ross, US President Barak Obama's special envoy for Iran, will "abruptly" be sacked in coming days, a report by an Israeli media claims.

The Israeli daily Haaretz said on Monday that the Obama administration would announce the resignation of the veteran diplomat in coming days.

He will, instead, be tasked to deal with the issue of Middle East peace process. The report cited Ross's Jewish background and his pro-Israeli leaning as one of the most possible reasons for his dismissal.

Obama, The Second Coming of Moses, Exodus Preparations

On June 4, 2009 President Obama spoke to the Arab and Muslim “worlds”. On the surface at least, Obama’s speech marked a turning point in the American Administration speech on the Middle East in the last 60 years. Predictably, his even-handed-with-the-Muslims-speech was received in all the typical ways. Political operative Dick Morris characterized it as America “turning her back on Israel” while Rep Gary Ackerman (D-NY) said in reference to the settlements issue that “I don’t think anybody wants to dictate to an ally what they have to do in their own national security interests.”

We are not witnessing the AIPAC controlled Congress waging the kind of war, which those of us who are familiar with AIPAC’s capabilities expect. Very strange indeed.

Zioist ADL's Foxman: Mitchell is Too Fair and Even Handed to Serve as Middle East Envoy

The media is reporting that former Sen. George Mitchell, who handled the Northern Ireland peace process, is being eyed by the Obama administration to be a top diplomatic envoy to the Middle East. In 2001, Mitchell produced a report on the Middle East which recommended that Israel freeze all its settlement activities. Without a freeze, a cessation of violence would be “particularly hard to sustain,” he argued. While Mitchell’s impending appointment is earning a great deal of praise, the Anti-Defamation League’s Abe Foxman complains the diplomat is too fair and balanced for the post.

Condoleezza Rice Says Bush Made The Middle-East A Better Place

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said she believes the Middle East is a better place for the policies of President George Bush. Speaking to the BBC, Ms Rice insisted that a US-inspired "freedom agenda" had taken hold in the Middle East. She told her interviewer she was especially proud of the situation in the Palestinian territories, and said: "I don't think that you have had an administration that has more actively been seeking a Palestinian state. The Palestinians now have a peace process that is the most serious one in many many years." Ms Rice also said Iraq had become a "good Arab friend" of America which, she said, far from being destroyed, had been fully integrated into the Arab world.Elsewhere, Syrian forces were out of Lebanon and women had the vote in Kuwait, she noted. She said the US would need to remain wary of Iran, but would still need to be prepared to negotiate on Iran’s nuclear push.Ms Rice said: "What we don't want to do is to give Iran cover to continue improving its nuclear programs that could lead to a nuclear weapon."

The Mischief-Makers - The Real Troublemakers In The Middle East

While the American people are consumed with the news on the home front – economic implosion and job losses, a record number offoreclosures and failed banks– and a presidential election in which the usual amount of smoke is being blown, if you look behind the headlines the outline of an emerging crisis in – where else? – the Middle East is beginning to take shape.
What the heck is going on in Syria? The news of a huge explosion in Damascus, caused by a car bomb, has shaken the region, and it isn't at all clear who or what is responsible. Whatever the source, however, the attack – which killed 17 bystanders, including possibly a top Syrian intelligence official – augurs ill for the future of peace in the Middle East (an increasingly elusive goal).

Russia Ready to Vaporize the Jewish State

And then kick America out of the Eastern Hemisphere’s oilfields

During the Cold War of the sixties, the only thing stopping American or Russian psychopaths from taking over the entire world was the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction [MAD], where a multiple ICBM launch by America on Russia or vice versa, would automatically lead to a “doomsday” response by the nation under attack. Mutual destruction of both America and Russia was thereby guaranteed, resulting in nearly thirty years of unprecedented peace and quiet, caused solely by mutual nuclear fear. About one month ago, Russia discreetly invoked MAD again, but this time in the Middle East in direct response to hysterical Israeli threats to nuke Iran with submarine-launched American Harpoon missiles. Quietly and with the minimum of fuss, Russia deployed its most advanced tactical nuclear missiles and crews to both Syria and Iran, thereby sending an unmistakable diplomatic signal that if Israel attacked Tehran or Damascus with nuclear weapons, Russia would in return instantly and anonymously vaporize the Jewish State. This is not an idle or exaggerated threat. The Russian missile type deployed in Syria and Iran is the P270 Moskit [Mosquito], known in NATO circles as the SS-N-22 "Sunburn", once described by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher as "the most dangerous anti-ship missile in the Russian, and now the Chinese, fleet.” The ship borne version of this missile is launched from deck mounted quad tubes, but since Rohrabacher made his comments, Russia has adapted the Sunburn for submerged launch from submarines, air launch from Sukhoi 27s, and single surface launch from modified 40’ flatbed trucks. Nowadays, western defense experts unambiguously view all versions of Sunburn as the “most dangerous missiles in the world”.
