CLIMATEGATE - Kerry/Lieberman Rebrand 'Cap and Trade' as 'American Power' and Hope You Won't Notice.

Today at 1:30 pm Eastern time Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT) will host a press conference announcing the fifth Senate reinvention of "cap-and-trade" global warming legislation since 2003, the "American Power Act". Call it the American Power Grab Act, instead, for reasons that will become obvious momentarily.

The orchestrated spectacle, with a cast expected to be in the dozens which massive alignment of special interest groups is apparently supposed to persuade you of the justness of their cause, is in fact a manifestation of all that is wrong with Washington and what Americans have become increasingly enraged by.

At this press conference, Sens. Kerry and Lieberman have both already indicated, they will insist that their scheme isn't "cap-and-trade" because... they aren't going to use that term this time around. Kerry has even said that "this is not an environment bill." It seems that the public aren't buying that argument, either, so it's really about whatever appeals to you. Just not what it was about the previous four times they've tried to slip this Power Grab past you. Except that a summary of the bill makes plain it is, too, cap-and-trade. And worse. It includes billions of dollars each year in gas tax revenue to underwrite the wealth transfers these companies are so in favor of.'

Overpopulation Mantra Overheating as Copenhagen Approaches

With the disastrous Copenhagen treaty in sight, selling the overpopulation story is obviously considered crucial for the agenda. After all, the entire climate change mythology depends in the end on the role of man as a scourge on the environment. So, it follows, less people means less global warming. But the agenda has hit a snag. Whenever people are confronted by those who tell us that we are to die if mother earth is to survive, alarm-bells go off warning us that all is not well. This danger sign is not there for nothing. Human instinct has had many centuries of experience with bloodthirsty tyrants, and therefore tends to rebel against tyranny approaching. All propaganda now serves to subdue this human instinct, lest the ‘global citizens’ stop the unfolding of the agenda in its tracks and bring forth the ropes.'

Climate Chief Lord Stern: Give Up Meat to Save the Planet

People will need to consider turning vegetarian if the world is to conquer climate change, according to a leading authority on global warming.

In an interview with The Times, Lord Stern of Brentford said: “Meat is a wasteful use of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”

Direct emissions of methane from cows and pigs is a significant source of greenhouse gases. Methane is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a global warming gas.

International Day of Climate Change Funded By.......

Anytime there are world wide organized demonstrations urging action on global warming/climate change, my first question is who funds them and who really benefits.

From seabeds to mountaintops, people around the world were staging a day of demonstrations Saturday to call for urgent action on climate change.

The events were being coordinated by a group called 350.org, whose name refers to the parts per million of carbon dioxide it considers the safe upper limit for our atmosphere.

So if you guessed the name Rockefeller as the major known backer of 350.org, you would be correct.'
