Robot to Unravel Pyramid Secrets


A robotics team from Britain's Leeds University is working on a machine to penetrate Egypt's Great Pyramid in Giza and unravel one of its mysteries.

Also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, the Great Pyramid was built around 2,560 BCE and is the only one of the wonders of the ancient world that is still standing.

Leeds University technicians are trying to find out more information about the shafts in two rooms located at the heart of the pyramid, the King's Chamber and the Queen's Chamber.'
