A female protester threw green-coloured slime in the face of Lord Mandelson today and evaded arrest in an embarrassing security breach.The Business Secretary had just arrived at a summit on the Government's low-carbon industrial strategy in Central London, when the woman approached Lord Mandelson carrying a cup.
After exchanging a few words with the peer she emptied its contents - green soup or custard - directly over the minister, who appeared shocked. He then hurried inside the building.
However the protester, dressed in a smart brown trouser suit, calmly walked away from the scene without being apprehended.
