According to an article appearing in one of Israel’s biggest mainstream news outlets–Haaretz–Israeli Military Intelligence is AT THIS VERY MOMENT trying to “figure out” what went wrong in 1954 with something known as the “Lavon Affair”, described by the news outlet as a “sabotage operation” by Israel in “bombing theaters, post offices and U.S. and British institutions, and making it seem as though Egypt was behind the bombings”.

Shas Seeks Authority to Strip Israelis of Citizenship

Interior Minister and Shas Chairman Eli Yishai is planning to submit an amendment to the basic citizenship law which would give him the authority to strip Israelis of their citizenship at his discretion, without the authorization of Attorney General Menachem Mazuz or the courts.

About a month ago, Yishai began the process of stripping the citizenship from four Israeli Arabs who left Israel decades ago.

Israeli Settlers Rampage in WB, Savage Palestinians

Jewish settlers rampaged in the occupied West Bank on Monday, June 1, blocking roads, burning farming fields, cutting down olive trees and shooting Palestinian civilians.

"They attacked when the minibus (carrying 17 Palestinian workers on their way to work in Israel) stopped," Zakaria Sada, an activist with the Rabbis for Human Rights organization, told Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Masked settlers blocked a road in western Nablus, hurling rocks at Palestinian drivers, who stopped their vehicles to move the obstructions.

Israel to U.S.: 'Stop Favoring Palestinians'

Tensions between Washington and Jerusalem are growing after the U.S. administration's demand that Israel completely freeze construction in all West Bank settlements. Israeli political officials expressed disappointment after Tuesday's round of meetings in London with George Mitchell, U.S. President Barack Obama's envoy to the Middle East.

"We're disappointed," said one senior official. "All of the understandings reached during the [George W.] Bush administration are worth nothing." Another official said the U.S. administration is refusing every Israeli attempt to reach new agreements on settlement construction. Palestinians are the terrorists,Israel was just ‘defending herself’
