Holy Mistake! Congress Wipes Out Congressional Health Care Insurance

Legislate in haste, repent at leisure. Looks like Congress is having one of those "Holy S---!" moments; it appears they have royally mucked up their own health insurance - for all 535 members of Congress and untold congressional employees. In a hurry, they forgot to get it right and wrote it all wrong; now it's the law...

Now Congress is in the same boat they built for the rest of America, without a clue what the new health care reform will mean to them. The beauty of their delimma is pure poetic justice to some -they have written law requiring that they move into a system that doesn't yet exist.'

The Micro Chipping of Americans?

Buried deep within the over 1,000 pages of the massive US Health Care Bill (PDF) in a section titled: Subtitle C-11 Sec. 2521, National Medical Device Registry, and which states its purpose as:

"The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the registry, to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcomes data on each device that; (A) is or has been used in or on a patient; (B) is a class III device; or a class II device that is implantable."

In real world speak, according to this report, this new law, when fully implemented, provides the framework for making the United States the first Nation in the World to require each and every one of its citizens to have implanted in them a radio-frequency identification (RFID) microchip for the purpose of controlling who is, or isn't, allowed medical care in their country.'

Insurers Find Loophole in Health Bill, Say They Don’t Have to Cover Sick Kids

Democrats said their health care legislation would provide greater medical security to those in need. But it appears to fall short on protecting arguably the most vulnerable demographic: sick children.

Insurance companies wasted no time after the bill was passed to unearth a loophole that allowed them to deny coverage to children with pre-existing illnesses for the next four years.

According to the New York Times, "Insurers agree that if they provide insurance for a child, they must cover pre-existing conditions. But, they say, the law does not require them to write insurance for the child and it does not guarantee the 'availability of coverage' for all until 2014".'

Obama Breaks Promise for Five Day Public Inspection; Signs Corporate 'Health' Welfare Bill

Obama promised five days for public consideration, discussion, and informed opinions about bills reaching the President before he would sign them into law.

Obama promised the identities online of lobbyists and corporations that would benefit from tax increases, including how much these corporations would benefit.

The amount American taxpayers lose from the “health” insurance company welfare bill compared with universal health care that eliminates corporate middle-men is between $100 and $300 billion every year.

Obama violated his promise and quickly signed the bill; denying the public the transparency he promised. Twelve states immediately filed lawsuits; claiming the forcing of Americans to purchase a product of specific corporations as obviously outside the spirit and letter of federal government authority written in the US Constitution. The IRS will enforce payment to health companies by hiring new agents.'

Health Care Reform Would Give IRS Broad New Powers to Collect Premiums From Taxpayers

House Ways and Means Republicans on Thursday assailed a provision in the proposed health care reform bill under consideration this week.

Subcommittee on Oversight ranking member Charles Boustany (R-La.) said the IRS provision in the bill "dangerously expands, in an ominous way the tentacles of the IRS and it's reach into every American family," he said today during a press conference.

"This is a vast expanse of power," he said.

Boustany said the bill would allow the IRS to confiscate refunds if there are penalties for not buying health care.'

Health Care Reform Bill Process is 'Corruption' Says Senator

"This process is not legislation. This process is corruption," said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., referring to the last-minute flurry of dealmaking that enabled Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and the White House to lock in the 60 votes needed to approve the legislation.

Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island responded in near-Biblical terms. In a speech on the Senate floor, he said Republicans are embarked on a "no-holds barred mission of propaganda, obstruction and fear. ... There will be a reckoning. There will come a day of judgment about who was telling the truth".'
