The surveillance system, dubbed Sigard, has been installed in Dutch city centers, government offices and prisons, and a recent test-run of the technology in Coventry, England, has British civil rights experts worried that the right to privacy will disappear in efforts to fight street crime.
The system's manufacturer, Sound Intelligence, says it works by detecting aggression in speech patterns.
"Ninety percent of all incidents involving physical aggression are preceded by verbal aggression," the Sound Intelligence Web site says. "The ability to spot verbal aggression before it turns into a violent outbreak delivers valuable time to security personnel and enables speedy intervention".'

Hmmmm....All this surveillance and yet crime is still at an all time high.
ReplyDeleteIt comes to a point where there is just too much data to sift through and that's why real criminals get away with everything while ordinary citizens are harrassed for some flimsy stuff.
Besides, we don't need any more surveillance, what we need is good, upstanding and intelligent police officers to fight crime, not all this CCTV and eavesdropping nonsense.
Just ridiculous, as usual.

ReplyDeleteThis might be seen/seemed percevied by others as fantastic or whatever but beyond the scale of the experience l found myself exclusively within from the evening of the 21/08/02, and all before reptilian bloodline Huwey within a fraction of time upon apon a purpose of space...its carparking space that is.
l was to overlooked a empty barren landscape as if like a moonscape from dense vibrations emitted from reptilian bloodline Huwey as he spoke telepathically before me.
Within this dimension l entered which l can only discribe from drawing on the lyrics of a Pink Floyd track, Learning to Fly, of which l've discribed of with Huwey in a past comment of this moment which l'll never forget, and somewhere in a posted comment around nearly a year ago or probably less, but...
l know my speech was monitored 'hiddenly' in Attitudes because of things l said which was somehow listened in someway hiddenly from me.
Some things l said appeared before me not long after said, or were noticed quietly.
l was offered later whatever l wanted in one instance when l uttered something stressfully after my experience with reptilian bloodline Huwey had crumbled because of my attitude.. noticably by a new face employed at Attitudes with a suspect past l was to find.
"l can get you whatever you want Steevin...just tell me what you want".
He wanted to know something which l refused to devulge...he was to hound me one night continually in a friendly way while l worked till 3.AM in the morning with him hanging around me for no apparent reason, l liked him but l felt like l was being interrogated somehow with his unwarranted company when he should of left the building long after his shift ended many hours beforehand.
My friend l call 'flash' identified him soon after by illuminating above his head as a flash of light...this is why l say l have an Alice in Wonderland experience as l can only detect it.
He said when flash appeared that night with my brother as witness "What was that?"
l replied, "l know...it's interdimensional".
"No, its a speed camera light" he said.
Directly above his head within a room?.....NOT!
l was cautious with him from then on.
Also a replacement for Huw was sent upon singing a request nightly during the tough times spiritually.

l knew the moment l set eyes on him, my heart jumped out of my chest.
If anyone reads my post as l seem to comment late well l knew instantly the moment l saw the replacement in 2004 for Huw was just that.

Within a week this 'angel' showed up on schedule.
l cannot go any further here as it was only for me to acknowledge within, which l did.
How ridiculous this hidden force around me was..as if l wanted a replacement really!
l was playing with it during that time knowing l was being listened to in someway while locked in the confines of Attitudes by myself at night, in the end it confirmed what l felt in my position.
It happened a number of times in other ways also.
