Ship Passengers Trapped in Baltic Sea Ice


Hundreds of passengers have been stuck in ice on board two ships ferrying them in the Baltic Sea between Stockholm and the Aland Islands, located between Sweden and Finland.

Swedish maritime authorities say the vessels are not likely to be freed for some time.

However, both countries have sent icebreakers to rescue the ships in what is being called the worst Baltic freeze in 15 years.'
