Anti-war Protester Brian Haw Arrested as Police Clear Parliament Square Ahead of Queen's Speech

Anti-war protester Brian Haw was arrested today as police carried out security sweeps ahead of the Queen's Speech. Mr Haw was seen being handcuffed by police as they cleared the area outside the Houses of Parliament before the monarch's visit this afternoon.

Reporting from Los Angeles and Elmer’sBP has rebuffed demands from government officials and environmentalists to use a less-toxic dispersant to break up the oil from its massive offshore spill, saying that the chemical product it is now using continues to be "the best option for subsea application."

On Thursday, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gave the London-based company 72 hours to replace the dispersant Corexit 9500 or to describe in detail why other dispersants fail to meet environmental standards.

The agency on Saturday released a 12-page document from BP, representing only a portion of the company's full response. Along with several dispersant manufacturers, BP claimed that releasing its full evaluation of alternatives would violate its legal right to keep confidential business information private.'

Dying Man Left on Pavement for Two Hours as Shoppers Walk Around Him

Shoppers walked past a dying man as he lay helpless on the pavement.

Oil Spill = Illuminati's Covert War on America

We think of war in terms of missiles and tanks and bombs. But a far superior form of war is to disguise attacks as false flag terrorism like 9-11, natural disaster like Katrina or an accident like the April 20 BP oil spill.

This way the victim is not aware of his attacker, and cannot take countermeasures.

The parallels between the oil spill and Katrina are uncanny. In both cases, the American Gulf coast was attacked, and the Presidential response was deemed tardy and ineffective. In the case of Katrina, the levees were blown up 12 hours after the hurricane had passed.

The "tell" is the failure of the Obama Administration to declare a State of Emergency and take immediate action to stop the gusher. It is hard to believe that an Administration facing a national election in six months would sit on its hands while oil poured onto America's Gulf coast. Last week, Obama was announcing a commission to study the causes while failing to address the blow-out itself.

It is hard to believe that an industry which hosts hundreds of deep sea oil wells has not developed measures for such an eventuality. Hard to believe that the richest and most technologically advanced country in the world appears helpless in the face of this disaster.

The optics for Obama are terrible. Even the Huffington Post, which is a Murdoch-sponsored Obama cheering section could not hide its exasperation and impatience with Obama's tepid response.

But the Rothschilds treat Presidents like Kleenex -- use and throw away. Every President in my lifetime has left office in some kind of disgrace. The purpose is to demoralize Americans and make them lose faith in their government and democracy.

Who owns BP? The Rothschilds. Who owns Barack Obama? The Rothschilds. How hard would it be to stage this accident and then ensure a failed response?'

Bromley council in south east London used RIPA powers to try to catch people leaving unwanted items outside charity shops. Officials first placed CCTV systems inside the windows of two charity stores for 10 days, then parked a "covert CCTV vehicle" outside one shop for two weeks.

Despite its strong denial of any involvement and expressions of sympathy for lost fellow Koreans, fingers are being pointed at North Korea over the tragic sinking of the 1,200-ton South Korean corvette Cheonan in the West Sea or Yellow Sea on the night of March 26.

"A North Korean torpedo attack was the most likely cause for the sinking of a South Korean warship last month," an unnamed US military official told CNN on April 26. Up to 46 of the ship's 104 sailors were killed in the sinking.

By 1901, MacDougall had adapted a set of industrial beam scales (accurate to within five grams) so that one side held a platform onto which was placed a lightweight hospital bed while the other contained individual weights which could be added or subtracted to measure any change in mass. Once installed in his hospital, the surgeon then approached several terminally ill patients to ask if they would allow themselves to be weighed during the final hours of their life. He was attended by at least four people, including MacDougall and Dr John Sproull, a sym­pathetic colleague. Like many suffering from this disease, the exhausted patient was calm and as he ebbed away, any change to his weight was noted.

Over the course of three hours, there was a small but steady loss of weight, which was put down to loss of water through sweating and respiration. Then, around 9pm, the man’s condition worsened and a few minutes later he died. MacDougall explained what happened next.

“The instant life ceased, the opposite scale pan fell with a suddenness that was astonishing – as if something had been lifted from the body.” MacDougall and his colleagues ascertained the weight loss to be 21 grams.'

British Woman Offered ’£200 to be Sterilized’

A woman has claimed she was approached near a health centre in Glasgow by three women who offered her £200 if she agreed to be sterilised.

Deborah Wilson said the offer was made as she left Possilpark Health Centre with her nine-year-old son on Friday.

Ms Wilson said the women told her they were from Project Prevention, a US group which pays drug addicts to be voluntarily sterilised.

UK Forces Accused of Helping Taliban

Most of the Regional Command in the South of Afghanistan will be shifted from the UK to the US, as British forces are accused of having links with the Taliban.

British newspaper, The Independent, said that command in southern Afghanistan will be split in half, with UK troops answering to a US general from June 1.

According to some reports, the changes are made as the British have reportedly cooperated with the Taliban in recent years and allowed Afghan farmers to cultivate opium freely.

The reports say that the British forces were even involved in the process of drug trafficking itself.'

Nuclear Fuel Swap Deal: US Sabotages ‘Unique Opportunity’ for Peaceful Resolution with Iran

In his inaugural speech in January 2009, US president Barack Obama promised a new beginning in foreign policy towards Iran, saying “we will extend a hand if you are willing to un-clench your fist”. He didn’t actually mention Iran by name then, but everyone knew he was saying that the Bush administration’s confrontational approach to the Islamic Republic was being replaced by a more reasonable policy based on mutual dialogue.

Well, we better return to examine everything else promised in that address – about “decent jobs and affordable healthcare” and “America being a friend to each nation and to every man, woman and child” – because the 44th president is now shown to be a liar.

This week, Obama’s fine words were put to the test when, on 17 May, Iran announced a joint declaration with Turkey and Brazil on a nuclear fuel swap deal that, in the words of Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdorgan, provides a unique opportunity to resolve the long-running dispute between the US and its western allies and Iran over the latter’s nuclear programme.

"There is a unique chance before us and I believe that we should take this chance," said Erdogan following the signed accord, which was also brokered in Tehran by Brazilian president Lula da Silva.

"I urge the international community to support this final declaration, which is going to have a very positive impact on the establishment of world peace in the future," added Erdogan.

But less than 24 hours after the nuclear fuel swap plan – which was hailed as a positive development by diverse opinion, including UN chief Ban Ki-moon, China’s foreign minister Yang Jiechi and even French president Nicolas Sarkozy – the Obama administration moved swiftly to sabotage the deal.

US secretary of state Hillary Clinton announced on 18 May that a draft document for a fourth round of sanctions drawn up by the US had been agreed by all five permanent members of the UN security council (after weeks of arm-twisting on China, it has to be said [1] [2]). The proposed sanctions will have “more teeth” than the previous three rounds, and are aimed at hitting Iran’s international finances and trade.

So much for Obama’s promise of extending a hand to what is clearly a significant bid by Iran to build confidence and trust. More like extending a punch in the face.

King Slams Intelligence Leak That Shows Saudi Arabia Funded and Armed Al Quaeda

The King of Saudi Arabia has strongly criticized the country's intelligence officials for disclosing a secret document, which shows Riyadh has links with terrorist activities carried out by al-Qaeda in Iraq.

According to a report by Iraq's Buratha news agency on Friday, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz ordered a special committee to investigate the intelligence leak and inform him about those liable in the case.

Some 37 members of Saudi's intelligence service, accused of being behind the leakage of the confidential document, were also reported to have been arrested.

The condemnation by the Saudi monarch comes as the Iraqi news agency disclosed the amount of money transferred by Saudi government officials to al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Saudi officials are also reported to send explosives and weapons to the terrorist groups.'

Senator Wants Corporate Welfare for BP

US Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee member Lisa Murkowski has urged Congress not to overreact legislatively to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

On May 13, Murkowski and other Republicans blocked Senate Democratic attempts to pass the "Big Oil Bailout Prevention Liability Act" which would cap BP's liability at $10 billion, even if damages from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill surpass that figure. The company already estimates that the spill will cost $450 million to clean up.

It has been reported that Murkowski, a drilling supporter, has received at least $300,000 in campaign contributions from the oil and gas industry.'
