Primary School Children Given Gay Assembly with Elton John Song

Children as young as four were among the pupils told about same sex relationships as part of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

During the talk children at Bromstone Primary in Broadstairs, Kent, were played music by Elton John and told he was homosexual.

A string of parents have since complained their children were left "confused" and "worried" by the assembly.

Gemma Martin, 28, whose daughter Chloe, seven, and Danny, four, are both pupils, went on: "It's meant a number of girls are worried about being friends with each other.

"Little girls often cuddle each other if one of them is crying or has fallen over, and now they are afraid to do that in case the others think they are gay.

"I think kids as young as four don't need to know about that and it should be left to their parents to tell them when they think they're ready."

DVLA is Selling Drivers' Details to Rogue Wheel-clamping Companies

The DVLA is selling drivers’ names and addresses to clamping companies that break industry rules by charging drivers more than £500 for minor parking breaches, an investigation by The Times has established.

The agency made more than £4 million last year by selling the details of 1.6 million drivers. It sold 900 names and addresses to Newline Securities and Parking Control Management, both of which have repeatedly double-charged drivers for parking breaches and inflated bills by adding spurious charges.

Newline left a family stranded overnight after seizing a car and refusing to allow the owner to retrieve his house keys. PCM charged an elderly couple £375 after they parked for 30 minutes outside a boarded-up office.

FDA Weighs Risk of Antipsychotic Drugs for Kids

Three antipsychotic drugs appear to work in children and teens but their risks must be weighed as the makers aim to promote the medicines for youth, U.S. drug reviewers said in documents released on Friday.

The Food and Drug Administration is considering whether to approve AstraZeneca's Seroquel, Pfizer's Geodon and Eli Lilly and Co's Zyprexa for children and teens with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. All three are blockbuster medicines already sold for adults.

An FDA panel meets next week to make recommendations on the companies' bids to promote the drugs for children and teens.

I ask myself exactly why would a civilian census department, originally intended merely to count the numbers of people in the country has done this. Exactly why does the Census Department need to know the precise GPS location of every household in the USA? Of course, the answer is they don't. The next question is who does and why do they need that GPS locator? Like I said before, GPS is a military technology that has certain non lethal applications. GPS can either be used to locate a missing hiker on Mount Hood, or it can be used to target a Predator drone missile. The choice is all in the use of the technology. WHO Recommends Rotavirus Vaccine for All Children

The World Health Organization recommended on Friday that oral rotavirus vaccines be included in all national immunization programs to avert half a million diarrhoeal deaths and 2 million hospitalizations a year.

Children in Europe and the Americas have had access to the rotavirus vaccine for three years but it had previously not been tested in and approved for low-income settings where the dehydrating disease is most lethal.

The U.N. agency's new global guidance is expected to boost demand for Merck's RotaTeq, GlaxoSmithKline's Rotarix vaccines in Africa and Asia, and from health charities.

"This WHO recommendation clears the way for vaccines that will protect children in the developing world from one of the most deadly diseases they face," said Tachi Yamada of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Time Jump Theory Revisited

Some years ago, I postulated that irregularities in time and reality (which are often experienced by people everywhere on Earth) were the result of time jumps. Most people that experience something highly unusual often write it off to their imagination, a freak of nature or some other explanation. This allows them to rationally explain and justify the experience they have had. Perhaps many strange unusual events really didn't happen. But we'll look at some events so strange and bizarre they deserve a close look. There may be a common denominator at work that has until now has gone largely unnoticed by most. It's also possible that a jump in the simulation also causes a jump in time. If there is no matter present in space there can be no passage of time.

Court Rules Tasering to Obtain DNA is Not Unconstitutional

A decision by Falls Police to use a Taser to obtain a DNA sample from a suspect in an armed robbery, shooting and kidnapping is not unconstitutional.

Niagara County Court Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza reached that conclusion in a 16 page decision handed down Wednesday that refused to dismiss an indictment against Ryan Smith and denied his request to have DNA evidence that links him to two separate criminal cases thrown out.

The ruling left Smith’s attorney, Patrick Balkin, stunned and requesting additional time to prepare for a trial that had been scheduled to begin later this month.

Senior police and prosecutors have announced they will not launch criminal investigations into more than 100 MPs over their apparent abuse of parliamentary expenses.

Hajo Meyer, author of the book The End of Judaism, was born in Bielefeld, in Germany, in 1924. In 1939, he fled on his own at age 14 to the Netherlands to escape the Nazi regime, and was unable to attend school. A report on Iran’s nuclear programme issued by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last month generated news stories publicising an incendiary charge that U.S. intelligence is underestimating Iran’s progress in designing a "nuclear warhead" before the halt in nuclear weapons-related research in 2003.

That false and misleading charge from an intelligence official of a foreign country, who was not identified but was clearly Israeli, reinforces two of Israel’s key propaganda themes on Iran – that the 2007 U.S. National Intelligence Estimate on Iran is wrong, and that Tehran is poised to build nuclear weapons as soon as possible.

New Uses For Electro-Shock Torture

A police officer assigned to prowl the halls of Pennsylvania's Penn Hills High School came across a student using his cell phone, a violation of school rules except in an emergency.

The officer was ignored when he told the student to turn off the phone. So he ordered the student to the principal's office. According to Police Chief Howard Burton, "The student resisted, pushed the officer. The officer, defending himself, took out his stun gun and did a drive stun."

A "drive stun" consists of placing the Taser directly to the subject's body, temporarily immobilizing him. The student fell to the floor, where, after he continued "resisting" -- one has to admire his tenacity -- he was handcuffed.

All of this was less disruptive than the student's cell phone use, one supposes.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) wants to claim that the global average temperature has unexpectedly and abruptly increased during the 20th century after a gradual cooling from the year 1000, and that this unexpected increase of the temperature is mostly man-made-the greenhouse effect of CO2.

2. For their purpose, the IPCC ignored the fact that the Earth went through a cold period called "the Little Ice Age" from 1400 to 1800.

3. The Earth has been recovering from the Little Ice Age from 1800 to the present. A recovery from a cold period is warming. It is mostly this warming that is causing the present climate change and it is not man-made. If they admit the existence of the Little Ice Age, they cannot claim that the global average temperature unexpectedly increased from 1900.

US President Barack Obama has admitted US involvement in the 1953 coup in Iran which overthrew the democratically elected government of premier Mohammad Mossadegh.

$100 Billion Bailout For IMF Tagged On To War Funding Bill

Democrats in Congress have agreed to provide a $100 billion credit line to the International Monetary Fund, tagging it onto the war supplemental intended for operations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq.

Campaign to Stop GM Wheat

Wheat industry groups in the United States, Canada and Australia said May 14, 2009, they would work toward the objective of "synchronized commercialization of biotech traits in the wheat crop."

This must be stopped.

1. Roundup Ready wheat will contaminate conventional and organic wheat and destroy the diversity and adaptability of locally-bred varieties critical to ensuring food supplies in regions across the globe.

2. The only genetic trait for which Monsanto has sought approval is tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate that it sells under the name Roundup. Roundup Ready wheat is not designed to increase yields to feed the world, but to increase Monsanto's profits by increasing the use of its herbicide Roundup. During the global food crisis of 2008, Monsanto's profits increased 120%. Since the introduction of GE crops in 1996, the number of people going hungry in the world has ballooned from an estimated 800 million to over 1 billion.

3. Improving crop quality is the key to providing higher net incomes for farmers and weathering climate change. Higher quality wheat is being produced through conventional plant breeding, not Monsanto's genetic engineering, which is focused on making farmers dependent on Monsanto's expensive seeds and herbicides.

4. In countries requiring the labeling of food produced through the use of genetically engineering, GE crops have been limited to those used primarily for feed, oil and fiber. This has allowed food companies to avoid national labeling requirements. GE wheat, however, would primarily be used for human consumption and food products derived from GE wheat would be labeled in many countries across the world.

5. All studies on the subject have shown that consumers will reject genetically engineered food if it is labeled. Consumer rejection of GE food is rational. The amount of herbicides used on Roundup Ready GE crops is much higher than that used on conventional and organic crops.

6. There have been no long-term studies on the human health effects of consuming foods, like Roundup Ready wheat, that have been genetically engineered to withstand massive doses of herbicides. Since 1996, we have all been subjects in an experiment on the safety of GE crops. Only when children born after 1996 reach reproductive age and beyond will we have some idea as to whether GE food crops were safe or not. If observations of animals fed GE crops are any indication, we can expect to see severe health and fertility problems in this first generation of GE-consuming humans.

We must stop GE wheat and withdraw other Roundup Ready crops from the food supply before it is too late.

Today is a new door hanger program, in which the the hangers were given to the public via their print newspaper subscriptions. "LADWP door hangers are designed to help customers encourage their neighbors not to waste water and to avoid fines associated with violations of the City’s Water Conservation Ordinance," they explain. "On one side of the door hanger is a list of four common wasteful water practices, with a checkbox for each prohibited use.

Neighbors, when they spot water being wasted on a neighbor’s property, can select the box or boxes that apply and leave the hanger anonymously on the neighbor’s door." Those four common wasteful practices are: excess water flowing over pavement and into gutters during irrigation or car washing, sprinklers are on more than twice a week, sprinklers are on during the day, broken or leaky sprinkler. The Rwandan Genocide: Result of a Carefully Planned Military Operation

The detainees of the ICTR, signatories of the present document have judged it necessary to react to your racist and discriminatory intentions announced by several Rwandan personalities on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan “genocide”, celebrated on Nyanza hill, a Kigali the 11th of April 2009. The Rwandan government stated that 5,000 people were taken from the Official Technical School (ETO) at Kicukiro, the 11th of April 1994 and were then massacred at Nyanza hill. Those who stated this were Charles Muligande, M. Simburudi, president of the IBUKA Association which represents the Tutsi survivors of the “genocide” the deputy mayor of Kigali and Dr. Augustin Iyamuremye, senator and former chief of the civilian intelligence services in the Rwandan government of 1994.

We think that the things said do not take any account of the truth or the reality of the history of our country, but instead, have as the purpose of terrorising, intimidating and humiliating the Hutu people of Rwanda who are globally accused of having planned and committed a “genocide” against the Tutsis. Our reaction is motivated by the fact that the RPF regime wants to wipe from the history of Rwanda, the revolutionary period that liberated the people of Rwanda from the yoke of a feudal monarchy and that ushered in national construction once the country achieved its independence. The ultimate objective of the RPF is clearly to erase the history of Rwanda and the benefits of the republican period to better support their false thesis according to which the Hutus only marked the history of the country with barbarism and “genocide” of the Tutsis. It is a vision both false and divisionist and it is clear that, by propagating it, you have abandoned the interests of the Rwandan people.

In Israel, Obama is Accused of 'anti-Semitism'

An Israeli parliamentarian accuses the Obama administration of 'anti-Semitism' ahead of a planned speech addressing the Muslim world.

Knesset (parliament) member Yaakov Katz, head of the National Union party, said Wednesday that US President Barack Obama's repeated calls for halting the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank is "nothing less than anti-Semitism," Israel's Arutz Sheva reported.

He also accused the White House of following the path of his predecessors in stunting the growth of the population of Jewish people in the West Bank.

Katz says calling on Tel Aviv to freeze settlement activities means denying the Jewish people the right to give birth.

Police Launch DVD to Teach Primary School Pupils How to Spot Terrorists

Primary schoolchildren are set to be taught how to spot potential terror suspects as part of a police strategy to tackle extremism.

Lancashire Police has made a DVD featuring animated animals in a bid to teach children about the dangers of fundamentalism.

The force's new Preventing Violent Extremism unit said the DVD aimed to teach youngsters about terrorism and fundamentalism in an 'accessible way'.

Children will be encouraged to inform on their classmates if they feel other pupils are expressing extremist views.
