Together On The Path Of Creation By Jim Porter

Notice how the dodgems are following the same path. Is this the conscious decision of each driver?
While this fairground attraction is being readied, the cars are placed facing the same way. Obviously this is done deliberately so that all the drivers will set off in the same direction, maintaining a flow. The owner of these dodgems does not want any complications, so he lines up the cars in the knowledge that the drivers will follow the assumed pattern laid out for them - namely to circumnavigate the track, and always in the same direction. In fact, the owner will often admonish anyone who goes against the flow, though he would be powerless to stop all the drivers if they chose to take an alternate route. Unless of course he turns off the power - then it would be Game Over and he would be out of business.
I experimented. To flow without deviating was simply too dull. I had to deviate to learn something new. I attempted to weave in and out of the flow without touching a single car. Tricky, but rewarding when it came off.
Crashing only worked for me if I had some affinity with the opposing driver. If someone I didn't know crashed into me, it was an 'attack'.
Sometimes I deliberately went against the flow. This meant having a constant stream of cars coming at me - I couldn't avoid them for long, so I had to get back with the flow again , or crash endlessly.
So much for my experience on the dodgems. What are the parallels?
We as a human race follow the same Path of Creation. This is our Collective Illusion. There is only one Path of Creation - or Timeline - and though the Path can be manipulated* in a certain direction, we are free to choose in which direction it goes (hardly anyone realises this because we are uninformed). However, an individual cannot choose; the choice must be made by a critical mass.

BT Rolls Out Phorm Web Tracking

Thousands of BT broadband customers are to have their internet usage tracked so they can be sent targeted online advertising in a final trial before the service is launched network-wide.
BT customers will be invited to take part in the trial of Phorm’s controversial advertising system Webwise from tomorrow.
BT and Phorm said in a statement: “Following successful completion of this trial and an appropriate period of analysis and planning, it is currently expected that Phorm’s platform will be rolled out across BT’s network.”
The trial was due to begin in March but has been delayed by technical problems and legal controversy.
Up to 10,000 BT customers will have their internet use monitored and categorised under the new trial.
Phorm’s online targeting service is designed to make advertising more relevant by taking account of all the websites a person visits, rather than just the content of a single web page.

Tens of thousands flood Zimbabwe banks as 11,000,000% inflation sparks cash shortage

Tens of thousands of Zimbabweans have been besieging the country's banks to withdraw their cash before it loses its value.
With inflation at 11million per cent, the savers wanted to take advantage of a higher limit on withdrawals. Previously the maximum that could be taken out was 1,000 Zimbabwean dollars - barely enough to buy a newspaper.
The new limit of 20,000 dollars was still, however, too low for campaigners who want the cap scrapped.

Bailout by Stealth

While the public is distracted by the "bailout bill" and its rejection, trillions are pumped in to keep financial balloon inflated

The media is falling all over itself to report on every minutiae of the so-called Wall Street "bailout bill" and its rejection by Congress yesterday (just a few of the thousands of examples can be seen here and here and here and here). And why not? The media's breathless coverage of the bill has produced a furious backlash by the public and hysteria on Wall Street in a self-justifying feedback loop that makes the media attention seem merited.

The startling truth which the controlled corporate media is not reporting, however, is that a bailout is actually taking place right now, completely out of the public spotlight. This program has already pumped trillions of dollars into Wall Street (compared to the mere $700 billion proposed in the legislation that the media is focusing on) to help prop up the faltering investment banks and promises to pump in even more, every dime of it to the detriment of the taxpayer though the public will have no stake in its success. Why, then, is this program not being talked about in the media?

Slipping under the radar last week amidst the hullabaloo in Washington over the bailout bill was this story noting that in the past week alone, the Federal Reserve had pumped an astonishing $188 billion per day into the system in the form of emergency credit. This means that in just four days, the Fed injected as much money into the system as the entire $700 billion bailout proposal. After the proposal was rejected, the Fed responded by immediately announcing it would pour another $630 billion into the global financial system.

The Federal Reserve, of course, is America's central bank and although the above story conjures the reassuring image of a national bank lending out some of its vast reserves to help Wall Street weather the storm, the fact is that the Federal Reserve is not Federal and has doubtful reserves. In fact, the trillions of dollars that have been lent to the banks in the last few weeks were created out of nothing by the privately-owned Federal Reserve. When the Federal Reserve "lends" money to a bank through repurchase agreements (repos), credit auction or other method, it is not actually lending out money from its vaults. It is simply creating the money it "lends" out as electronic credits created in the recipient banks account. It is literally money out of thin air.

That the general public is on the hook for this money created out of nothing is not an exaggeration. It is paid for in a dimly-understood mechanism often known as the "inflation tax."
Inflation is nothing more than an indication that the ratio of money to products that can be purchased with that money has been increased. Since the overall number of dollars has gone up without any corresponding increase in economic production (as happens when the Federal Reserve creates money out of thin air), the value of each individual dollar goes down. That means that the value of the money in each individuals' bank account (not to mention their pension and social security dividends) can be reduced simply by the flick of a pen of a Federal Reserve paper-pusher. (Unless of course that individual just happens to be a billionaire investment mogul or a Vice President who can divest themselves of U.S. dollars in time for this inflation not to affect them.)
This is sometimes known as an inflation tax because its overall effect is the same as if the government came in and took that value out of the individuals' bank account.

BRITISH GUY CROSSES CHANNEL BY CAR FERRY

A BRITISH man yesterday successfully crossed the English Channel using nothing but a car ferry.

Wayne Hayes set sail from Dover at 9.15am on board the P&O Pride of Burgundy and landed in Calais just 90 minutes later after losing £15 on the slot machines.

He then loaded his Mercedes Vito with more than 7000 very small bottles of beer before enjoying a cheese and ham toastie, a glass of Muscadet and a visit to Madame Charlotte's Maison de Sexe.

He returned to Dover at 6.15pm local time on board the Pride of Kent.

He said: "You can get a return for £30 and while on board you have a choice of places to eat and drink, from the relaxed and casual family area to the more elegant and exclusive surroundings of the Club Lounge."

Mr Hayes' latest trouble-free crossing is in marked contrast to a series of disastrous foreign attempts including a Frenchman in a bucket and a Spaniard on a horse.

Last week two Chinamen had to be rescued by French coastguards after attempting the 24 mile journey on a bamboo raft powered solely by ping pong.

Meanwhile, the Hungarian daredevil Lazlo Pinsky is missing, feared drowned, after attempting the Portsmouth to Cherbourg crossing on an ironing board pulled along by a pair of hungry spaniels.

Meat should be rationed to four portions a week to beat climate change, says Government-funded report

People will have to be rationed to a quarter of a pint of milk a day if the world is to avoid dangerous climate change, according to a new Government funded report.
A study by the Food Climate Network says the average Briton will also need to cut meat consumption to four small portions a week by 2050 - and dramatically reduce their alcohol, sweets and chocolate intake.
Although scientists and environmentalists have called for a cut in meat and dairy consumption before, the latest report - prepared by researchers at the University of Surrey - goes much further.
Cattle, sheep and pig farming produces around eight per cent of all Britain's greenhouse gas emissions. Most is in the form of methane - from belching livestock - or nitrous oxide from the soil used to grow feed.
The report says Britons will need to cut their meat and dairy consumption by a quarter if emissions are to remain stable.
"This is approximately the average level of consumption of people in the developing world today and amounts to half a kilo of meat and a litre of milk per person a week," the report says.

FDA Approved Human Medical Experiments with Artificial Blood; Hundreds Died

The FDA allowed tests to proceed on new varieties of artificial blood even though it should have been aware that the products drastically increased patients' risk of heart attacks and death, according to a review conducted by the National Institutes of Health and Public Citizen, and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association."It's hard to understand," lead researcher Charles Natanson said. "They already had data that these products could cause heart attacks and evidence that they could kill."At question are new kinds of artificial blood that do not require refrigeration. No such products are approved for use in the United States, although at least one variety has been approved in South Africa.

UK ID Cards – More Than Identification

You may have heard that legislation creating compulsory ID Cards passed a crucial stage in the House of Commons. You may feel that ID cards are not something to worry about, since we already have Photo ID for our Passport and Driving License and an ID Card will be no different to that. What you have not been told is the full scope of this proposed ID Card, and what it will mean to you personally.

The proposed ID Card will be different from any card you now hold. It will be connected to a database called the NIR, (National Identity Register) where all of your personal details will be stored. This will include the unique number that will be issued to you, your fingerprints, a scan of the back of your eye, and your photograph. Your name, address and date of birth will also obviously be stored there.

There will be spaces on this database for your religion, residence, sexual tastes, number of partners, medical records status and many other private and personal facts about you. There is unlimited space for every other details of your life on the NIR database, which can be expanded by the Government with or without further Acts of Parliament. By itself, you might think that this register is harmless, but you would be wrong to come to this conclusion.

This new card will be used to check your identity against your entry in the register in real time, whenever you present it to 'prove who you are'.

Every place that sells alcohol or cigarettes, every post office, every chemist, and every Bank will have an NIR Card Terminal, (very much like the Chip and Pin Readers that are everywhere now) into which your card can be 'swiped' to check your identity. Each time this happens, a record is made at the NIR of the time and place that the Card was presented. This means for example, that there will be a government record of every time you withdraw more than £99 at your branch of Nat West, who now demand ID for these transactions. Every time you have to prove that you are over 18, your card will be swiped, and a record made at the NIR. Restaurants and off licences will demand that your card is swiped so that each receipt shows that they sold alcohol to someone over 18, and that this was proved by the access to the NIR, indemnifying them from prosecution.

Private businesses are going to be given access to the NIR Database. If you want to apply for a job, you will have to present your card for a swipe.

Read this carefully. Contact your M.P and tell them that if they vote for this crap then we the public will vote them out of office!

How Israeli Backdoor Technology Penetrated the US Government's Telecom System and Compromised National Security

Since the late 1990s, federal agents have reported systemic communications security breaches at the Department of Justice, FBI, DEA, the State Department, and the White House. Several of the alleged breaches, these agents say, can be traced to two hi-tech communications companies, Verint Inc. (formerly Comverse Infosys), and Amdocs Ltd., that respectively provide major wiretap and phone billing/record-keeping software contracts for the US government. Together, Verint and Amdocs form part of the backbone of the government's domestic intelligence surveillance technology. Both companies are based in Israel – having arisen to prominence from that country's cornering of the information technology market – and are heavily funded by the Israeli government, with connections to the Israeli military and Israeli intelligence (both companies have a long history of board memberships dominated by current and former Israeli military and intelligence officers).

Taxes Could Get Sky-High With Aerial Technology

The American People Must Grab Their Freedom Now

The United States is about to go bankrupt. What happens next depends on the American people. We could either have World War 3 accompanied by genocide or World Peace followed by an era of unprecedented prosperity.

The situation in the US depends largely on whether the white hats in the Pentagon and the alphabet soup of government agencies take down the financial oligarchs. The important thing for them to realize is that the financial system you have lived in was nothing but a giant mirage designed to blind the American people from reality. Now that the financial system is collapsing, you will realize that you still have your factories, your military might, your land, your know-how and your people. All you need is to put your best minds at work to come up with a new system controlled by the people and not by a secret inter-married clan of Satan worshippers. You will realize that you have been enslaved in your own land by a parasitical financial class. These people got their hands on the dollar printing machine back in 1913. They then used a combination of bribes, murder and propaganda to slowly, slowly capture the once free people of America.

Burn all, steal all and kill all was the official policy of Japan's imperialistic military and paramilitary groups like the Black Ocean and Black Dragon societies. Japanese citizens regarded their emperor as omnipotent or sanctioned by God; therefore obedience to government was deeply entrenched. Weapons technology, driven by the orchestrated Cold War with its staged enemies, has improved. Now it is nuke all, steal all and kill all. The Power Elite prototype, in most nations, reveals their consistent goal of depopulating the earth (to 500 million) and seizing all resources. Boycott the Presidential Elections On November 4th

House Rejects Bailout Package, 228-205; Stocks Plunge

In a moment of historic drama in the Capitol and on Wall Street, the House of Representatives voted on Monday to reject a $700 billion rescue of the financial industry.
The vote against the measure was 228 to 205. Supporters vowed to try to bring the rescue package up for consideration again as soon as possible.
Stock markets plunged sharply at midday as it appeared that the measure would go down to defeat.
House leaders pushing for the package kept the voting period open for some 40 minutes past the allotted time, trying to convert “no” votes to “yes” votes by pointing to damage being done to the markets, but to no avail.
Supporters of the bill had argued that it was necessary to avoid a collapse of the economic system, a calamity that would drag down not just Wall Street investment houses but possibly the savings and portfolios of millions of Americans. Opponents said the bill was cobbled together in too much haste and might amount to throwing good money from taxpayers after bad investments from Wall Street gamblers.
Should the measure somehow clear the House on a second try, the Senate is expected to vote later in the week. The Jewish holidays and potential procedural obstacles made a vote before Wednesday virtually impossible, but Senate vote-counters predicted that there was enough support in the chamber for the measure to pass. President Bush has urged passage and spent much of the morning telephoning wavering Republicans to plead for their support.
So they Bloody well should!!!

Housing Minister Caroline Flint: Countryside Must Be Built On

The countryside must be built on to provide cheaper homes for young families, the housing minister has said.

Caroline Flint warned that a lack of available housing meant that younger and lower-paid people could no longer afford to live in the countryside.
"Many of our rural communities are growing older and older, and that is not sustainable for the future," she said, adding that the Government's attempt to change this meant "more building in some cases".
She added: "If we are going to keep our rural areas thriving, we need those younger people to stay there."
Miss Flint blamed the housing shortages on residents who "vociferously" opposed new building in their area, and said families were being forced apart.
"In a number of our rural communities, there are families that have lived there for generations, often in the lowest-paid jobs in a rural economy," she told BBC Radio 4.
"They're part of the rural history, makeup and nature of that area, and they are losing out."

NO, The real reason younger people cant afford to live in the countryside is that mega rich bankers and M.P's have bought up all the affordable rural housing to extend and turn into holiday lets and second homes in the country therefore pushing up the prices of other properties in the area. I've seen it at first hand!

The village I grew up in in rural wales was a hive of activity with 2 pubs 3 tea rooms 3 shops a post office village school and a well focussed community.
Then the second home buyers started snapping up the available cottages doing them up and using them one week in the summer the rest of the local properties for sale started rising in price, then the holiday let market came and slowly but surely the shops started closing and turned into dwellings, the school closed due to falling numbers, now all that is left is a village shop/Post office and a pub.
The government and Post Office in their wisdom have now closed the post office and as the post master eplained the shop isnt viable without the post office so that is closing too!

I ber Caroline Flint has a second home in the country!!

Ehud Olmert: Israel 'Must Give Up Land To Secure Peace'

Ehud Olmert, the outgoing Israeli prime minister, has said Israel must reconcile itself to giving up most of the land it occupied in 1967 and divide Jerusalem if it ever wants to live in peace with its Arab neighbours.

While he hinted at this position during his two and a half years in power, Mr Olmert's remarks, made in a valedictory newspaper interview as he prepares to stand down, represent a significant shift for the Israeli leadership.
The willingness to share control of Jerusalem amounts almost to heresy in a country where generations of leaders have committed themselves to the city as the eternal and undivided capital of the Jewish state.
It remains to be seen whether his successor as prime minister, most likely to be Tzipi Livni who is currently trying to forge a new ruling coalition, would take his advice.
But the remarks, and his observation that Israeli leaders have been blinkered and unrealistic in their handling of peace negotiations, represented a paradigm shift of thinking.

Post Office Customers Are Queuing Longer In Areas Hit Hardest By Branch Closures

Customers are having to wait nearly half an hour to be served in post offices following the closure of scores of branches, nearly six times longer than in official Post Office guidelines.

Ministers have told Royal Mail to close 2,500 out of 14,000 branches in an attempt to cut the network's annual subsidy by £40 million to £150m a year and stem losses running at £4m a week.
Consumer watchdog PostWatch said waiting times of more than 15 minutes were common in London after 160 branches closed.
The news would appear to confirm fears that queuing times were going to get worse once the branches were axed, as the customers were forced to go to fewer branches.
A study of seven Crown branches showed average queuing times ranged from 11 minutes to almost 18 minutes, said PostWatch, which urged the Post Office to tackle the problem.
Roger Darlington, chairman of Postwatch's Greater London group, called the delays "wholly unacceptable".
He said: "Long queuing times have been a problem at some of London's post offices for years.
"With so many sub-post offices closing this year, we were naturally concerned about how certain offices would cope with an increase in customers."

Workplace Parking Levy 'can raise money for councils'

Until now the idea of a Workplace Parking Levy, which is being pioneered in Nottingham, was seen by ministers as purely a means of dealing with urban gridlock.
But tomorrow it will be put forward as a source of income at a conference due to be attended by John Healey, the local government minister.
Mr Healey and his officials will join more than 60 town hall officials in London to discuss “generating new revenue streams”. Delegates will hear a presentation of the Nottingham scheme, which will eventually see employers charged £350 a year for each of their parking spaces, which they could to pass on to staff.
The scheme is highlighted as a way of raising money for other transport projects in a report by the Core Cities Group, which represents Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield.
It notes “The business case for the introduction of WPL in Nottingham proposes a level of charge that generates annual income of around £10.8million by 2014.”
Chris Murray, director of the group, said: “I am sure [the levy] will be considered in other cities. But there are downsides, such as whether it would be accepted by the local business community.”

US banking crisis: midnight delivers the $700bn deal: half now, half later

The breakthrough on Capitol Hill that delivered a tentative deal on the $700 billion rescue plan for the US economy came just after midnight, following hours of tense negotiations, shouting matches, phone calls to President Bush, and even an emergency delivery of pizza and burgers.
The verbal deal, which was posted online in written form last night and will head to the House of Representatives for a vote as early as today, came after one of the most intense and extraordinary sessions of legislative wrangling in modern times. Hank Paulson, the exhausted US Treasury Secretary, finally persuaded the Republican and Democratic leaderships to agree to a compromise hours before the Asian markets opened.

Free travel for police costs taxpayer £24m a year

The cost to the public purse of giving London’s police officers a free ride on the railways has risen to £24 million a year, The Times has learnt.
The Metropolitan Police is facing Whitehall pressure over the cost of the perk, which enables its 31,000 officers to travel up to 50 miles (80km) beyond London without having to buy a ticket, even if they are off duty. Officers just show their warrant cards to inspectors.
With police forces around the country being told to make efficiency savings, the future of ticketless rail travel for the Met is under review.
Scotland Yard confirmed that its contract for the scheme with the Association of Train Operating Companies cost £16 million for 2008-09. Five years ago the scheme cost half that. The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) also has to meet an estimated £8 million tax liability because the travel deal is regarded by the taxman as a perk.

Residents Could Be Hit With £5,000 Rubbish Collection Fine For Leaving Bin Out

Council employees will patrol the streets and dish out £100 penalty notices, under a new plan.
Residents who fail to pay within two weeks could end up with a £5,000 fee and be left with a criminal record.
Homeowners are at risk of being fined if they fail to remove their bins after a collection or leave them in the wrong place.
Bin owners should only put their rubbish out the night before and remove them the day of the rubbish collection.
Residents could receive a fine if they fail to put their bin in spaces allocated outside their homes.
Under proposed changes, councils could refuse to empty bins that are too far from a curb, not placed directly outside a gate or put out on the street too early.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur - Sounds Like Insider Trading To Me

Treblinka Ground Radar Examination Finds No Trace of Mass Graves

'A detailed forensic examination of the site of the wartime Treblinka camp, using sophisticated electronic ground radar, has found no evidence of mass graves there.
For six days in October 1999, an Australian team headed by Richard Krege, a qualified electronics engineer, carried out an examination of the soil at the site of the former Treblinka II camp in Poland, where, Holocaust historians say, more than half a million Jews were put to death in gas chambers and then buried in mass graves.

According to the Encyclopedia of the Holocaust (1997), for example, "a total of 870,000 people" were killed and buried at Treblinka between July 1942 and April 1943. Then, between April and July 1943, the hundreds of thousands of corpses were allegedly dug up and burned in batches of 2,000 or 2,500 on large grids made of railway ties.

Krege's team used an $80,000 Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) device, which sends out vertical radar signals that are visible on a computer monitor. GPR detects any large-scale disturbances in the soil structure to a normal effective depth of four or five meters, and sometimes up to ten meters. (GPR devices are routinely used around the world by geologists, archeologists, and police.) In its Treblinka investigation, Krege's team also carried out visual soil inspections, and used an auger to take numerous soil core samples

The team carefully examined the entire Treblinka II site, especially the alleged "mass graves" portion, and carried out control examinations of the surrounding area. They found no soil disturbance consistent with the burial of hundreds of thousands of bodies, or even evidence that the ground had ever been disturbed. In addition, Krege and his team found no evidence of individual graves, bone remains, human ashes, or wood ashes.'

US Steps Up Pakistan Raids To Thwart al-Qaeda 'October Surprise' Plot

The Pentagon has ordered that raids on suspected terrorist targets within Pakistan be stepped up to pressurise al-Qaeda leaders and distract them from preparing attacks on American targets elsewhere.
"The aim is to disrupt their scope for planning and keep their leaders on the move so that it is more difficult for them to co-ordinate complicated plots," a senior US intelligence official told The Sunday Telegraph.
The operations launched from neighbouring Afghanistan have led to sharply increased tensions with Pakistan's armed forces since President George W.Bush recently authorised assaults involving "boots on the ground" without prior approval by Pakistan's government, a supposed US ally.
Those hostilities almost turned lethal last week when Pakistani troops shot at two clearly marked US helicopters, and the two sides then traded fire. The Pentagon said the aircraft were just inside Afghan air space but Pakistani officials insisted they had crossed the volatile border.

CIA ‘Backed’ Irish battle against Brussels Treaty

FIRST it was the sheer ingratitude of the Irish, then it was the failure of the Dublin government to mount a successful yes campaign. Now Brussels has found a new explanation as to why Ireland voted down the European Union treaty in June - a CIA and Pentagon-backed plot, devised by American neoconservatives to weaken the EU.
The European parliament wants an inquiry into whether Declan Ganley, the multi-millionaire chairman of the Libertas group that campaigned against the treaty, could be in the pockets of US defence and intelligence services.
The calls have been led by Daniel Cohn-Bendit, the firebrand 1968 student leader turned Green MEP, who pointed to Irish press reports that “revealed there possibly exists a link between the financiers of the no campaign in Ireland and the Pentagon as well as the CIA.
“If proved true, this would clearly show there are forces in the US willing to pay people to destabilise

Speeding Drivers To Be Banned On Second Offence

DRIVERS will be banned after just two convictions if they exceed the speed limit by 15mph in urban areas or 25mph on motorways under a shake-up of road safety laws.
Tougher penalties, to be announced next month, will mean drivers get six points for travelling at 45mph in a 30mph area, 55mph in a 40mph zone or 95mph on motorways throughout Britain.
The regulations will be enforced by digital cameras that track average speeds over long distances rather than Gatso cameras, which record speeds at a single point.
Jim Fitzpatrick, the road safety minister, said: “In cases of extreme speeding only, there is a proposal to increase the penalty to six points to ensure the punishment corresponds better to the offence committed.”
Experts said imposing higher penalties on motorways, Britain’s safest roads, was punitive and unlikely to improve road safety. Over the past 30 years, motorways have accounted for 150-180 deaths a year - just 5% of those killed on the roads.

Treasury To Nationalise Bradford And Bingley Bank

THE Treasury was poised last night to nationalise Bradford & Bingley (B&B), the troubled mortgage bank.
In an attempt to try to avoid a rerun of the Northern Rock debacle the government plans to hold an immediate fire sale to sell off B&B’s assets to one or more banks.
The Spanish banking giant Santander was in talks last night about its potential role in the rescue. Another buyer could be HSBC.
Although the Financial Services Authority had been trying to find a single white-knight bidder to take over B&B’s loans in their entirety, Britain’s big banks refused to get involved.

Will Fair Britannia Be Rescued From Wicked Baron’s Tower?

The pantomime season will soon be upon us and the British government can always be relied on for amusement. This year a Foolish Fairy in the Foreign Office plans to move the British embassy in Tel Aviv from a decent spot on the seafront to a brooding tower block owned by Africa-Israel Investments and occupied mostly by Israeli government departments.

The British Foreign Office is evidently so in love with the Israeli regime that it wants to 'shack up’, and never mind the gossip.

Here in London the same Fairy is making the Foreign Office’s magnificent Locarno Suite available to the Zionist Federation for "a Champagne Reception and Commemorative Lecture at the Foreign Office in honour of the 91st anniversary of the Balfour Declaration of 1917"

.What sane person would dream of commemorating an individual who wrote, in all seriousness, "In Palestine we do not propose even to go through the form of consulting the wishes of the present inhabitants of the country. The four powers are committed to Zionism and Zionism, be it right or wrong, good or bad, is rooted in age-long tradition, in present needs, in future hopes, of far profounder import than the desires and prejudices of the 700,000 Arabs who now occupy that land"?

The sheer arrogance of Balfour’s Declaration created a bitter rift between East and West which, 91 years later, is getting worse not better. Why is the Foreign Office, of all people, involved in perpetuating this stupidity?

How Cameron's Secretive Donors Bet On The Collapse Of Bradford & Bingley

David Cameron faced embarrassment on the eve of his party conference last night after members of a secretive club of Tory donors were linked to the ‘short-selling’ of the collapsing Bradford & Bingley.
As the bank was taken into the hands of the authorities ahead of its break-up or nationalisation, two members of Mr Cameron’s elite Leaders Group were revealed to have bet on its falling share price, which has dropped by 95 per cent in a year.
A hedge fund managed by Michael Hintze, who has given £660,000 to the Tories since Mr Cameron took over, declared ‘bets’ on the bank’s falling share price in July.

US House of Representatives Approves Nasa Buying Russian Spacecraft

Nasa's top achievement in Congress this year boils down to a single sentence - one line in a huge spending bill that would allow Nasa to circumvent an arms-control law and purchase Russian-made Soyuz spacecraft.
For Nasa administrator Michael Griffin, that might be enough to enable him to retire the space shuttle in 2010 and still get US astronauts to the international space station.
Yesterday, the House approved a $630bn measure to fund the government through next year that includes a sentence allowing Nasa to purchase Soyuz until July 2016.
For weeks, Griffin has told lawmakers that the Soyuz is the only reliable way to send American astronauts to the space station in the gap between the shuttle's retirement and the planned first mission of its replacement, now set for 2015. But he needed a waiver from the law banning high-tech purchases from Russia because of that country's sale of nuclear materials to Iran.

The Rothschilds Secret Operations

SECRECY IS WHAT THE ROTHSCHILD DYNASTY is all about. Do you remember the book “The Firm” which told us about the Cayman Islands being a tax haven for banks?
Well - the Rothschilds also have a “bank” on the Cayman Islands - along with offices worldwide throughout Europe, North America, India, and that emerging giant, China.
It appears that David René de Rothschild’s Paris based NM Rothschild & Sons has that tax-evasion bank in the Cayman Islands. And even more noteworthy, NM Rothschild & Sons has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, & Hong Kong. For China, in which millions of former US jobs are outsourced, has the Rothschilds as their primary investment advisers.
Indeed NM Rothschild & Sons is the primary investment adviser for China’s Petro China, the largest oil company in Asia - and for China’s Mass Transit Railway Corporation which recently built a controversial intrusive rail track into Tibet. (Ethics is not the Rothschilds’ field.)
One wonders then if China’s new and burgeoning New York Global Group with offices on Wall Street & Beijing has Rothschild money & interests behind it? (Most likely -eh?)

Rebel Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher Backs Russia Over Georgia

"The Russians were right; we're wrong," Rep. Dana Rohrabacher said at a hearing of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee.
"The Georgians started it; the Russians ended it," he added.
Mr Rohrabacher claimed that unidentified intelligence sources had assured him that Georgia started the fighting that began on August 7 when Georgia's military tried to re-establish control over its breakaway, pro-Russian province of South Ossetia.
Russia joined the battle, brutally repelled the Georgian offensive and then pushed deep into Georgia proper, where many of its forces remain nearly a month after the battle ended.
Russia has been condemned by the Bush administration and other countries. Vice-president Dick Cheney visited Georgia and Ukraine, another former Soviet republic, early this month and called Russia's actions "an affront to civilized standards" and "completely unacceptable".
